Jaime Coy RMT has been practicing since 1995 and involved in education since 2003, initially teaching but soon becoming the Director of a post secondary college. He was later a department head, involved in setting up a new RMT college in Vancouver, BC. Jaime is currently the RMT for UVic and instructor of orthopedic assessment at West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Registered Massage Therapists (RMT’s) in British Columbia need to maintain certain standards of practice to continue practicing within the province. The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia is responsible for ensuring these standards are met. Part of the requirements are that RMT’s continue to learn. BC RMT’s are required to obtain 24 continuing education credits (CEC’s) every two years. Coy Therapeutics, is pleased to offer classes approved for CEC’s.
