Dr. Megan Yim, DC Chiropractor
Dr. Megan Yim graduated with Honours from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology then went on to complete a Master’s of Science at the University of Victoria in Experimental Neuropsychology. She then completed four rigorous years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto 2019. During her time in Toronto Megan worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at several gyms and at a physio clinic working with children with sensory motor integration disorders. She also holds certifications in Athletic Movement Assessment, Functional Range Release and Functional Range Conditioning as well as several other Chiropractic protocols.
Megan is a former varsity badminton player and still competes in badminton and squash. This has led to a keen interest in sports related rehabilitation and injury prevention. She utilizes a variety of techniques including spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, functional range release and active rehab. Megan’s passion is to treat and prevent injuries to optimize movement for sport and activities of daily living.
