Alex Baan-Meiklejohn

Alex graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy here in Victoria in 2024.
While in school, Alex discovered a fascination and passion for understanding all the intricacies of the human body. Areas he focused on in school were active and passive stretching modalities integrated with relaxing Swedish, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. As the result of being a competitive athlete his whole life, he enjoys integrating diverse hands-on active treatment approaches with patients and integrating that with a dynamic homecare plan. He believes that patient education is essential for treatment outcomes, and looks forward to taking on a wide array of patients. Outside of massage, Alex takes singing lessons, goes to the gym, hikes, practices yoga in various forms, swims, kayaks, and enjoys reading research papers and pursuing further education wherever it may be found.
